Welcome to the 75th Anniversary of Chief Joseph Days Rodeo!
We would like to thank you for your interest in becoming a Chief Joseph Day’s Court member. Serving on the Chief Joseph Days Rodeo Court provides young women an excellent opportunity to improve poise and self assurance as they attend various community events, activities, parades, and rodeo appearances throughout the year. The experience of being on the CJD court will be an ever bonding tie to your community, CJD, PRCA, and the sport of rodeo not to mention the value of the friendships and connections you will form throughout the year.
If you are looking for a year of hard but fun work, lots of hair, make up, beautiful outfits, smiles, waves, meeting new people, traveling, plus three weeks of selling CJD Rodeo tickets (even in your sleep) and a nice big check after it is all over, then this application is for you.
Please read every page carefully and fill in all lines as complete as possible. Below you will find a list of what pages YOU are to KEEP and what pages YOU are to RETURN. If you have any questions please feel free to call Diane Witherrite (Court Director) at 541-263-0628 or Debbie Short (Office Secretary) at 541-432-1015.
Applications must be returned to the Chief Joseph Rodeo office by August 10, 2019. A meeting of all interested parents and applicants will be held August 14th at 6 pm at the Rodeo Office in Joseph to help answer additional questions.
Court tryouts will be September 8, 2019 at 1:00pm in the Harley Tucker Memorial Arena.
