The Chief Joseph Days Grand Parade
On Saturday morning at 10:00 you will find thousands of spectators crowding the sidewalks of Joseph to watch close to 100 entries in the grand parade at Chief Joseph Days!
2014 year’s theme “Rip Roarin Rodeo”.
You won’t want to miss the colorful parade including Native Americans, the Grand Marshall, our royalty Court and visiting Courts, community entries, lots of horses, and more. The big parade always attracts the largest concentration of people in one place at one time during the celebration.
Make sure you don’t park your vehicles on the parade route down Main Street, or it will be towed away.

The Chief Joseph Junior Parade
The Chief Joseph Days Junior Parade is a big crowd pleaser on Friday morning when over a hundred youngsters – from infants to teens – don all kinds of costumes to entertain Chief Joseph Days’ crowds.
The parade starts at the Indian Lodge Motel and heads north down Main Street. The top three places win cash prizes, ranging from $5 to $15, while the grande prize entry will win a bicycle donated by Coca Cola Distributing. All the kids in the parade receive a free ice cream cone from R&R Dive-In.
