Addie-KilgoreAddie Kilgore

Addie is 15 years old and a sophomore at Joseph Charter School. She was born in La Grande, but mainly raised in Wallowa County. She lives in Joseph with her parents Wes and Sherri Kilgore and brother Kade. Addie’s four legged partner is a quarter horse named Bucky.

Addie is involved in 4-H horse, swine, volleyball, basketball, track, FFA, FCCLA, ASB, and drama. She has been riding horses her entire life. Addie enjoys riding horses, running, and art. She was a member of the Wallowa County 4-H Court in 2013. Addie has earned several awards in her involvement that include outstanding freshman girl, honor roll student, most improved athlete of the year in track, ASB treasurer, class treasurer, and volleyball setter of the year.

After High school, Addie plans to attend OSU with aspirations to be a High school agriculture teacher.

Addie wants to be a Chief Joseph Days Court Member because she would love to represent Chief Joseph Days and be an ambassador for one of the biggest events of the year.

One of Addie’s references says, “Addie has an outgoing personality and is comfortable speaking to individuals, as well as small and large groups.


 

Marli-Tracy-MalloryMarli Tracy-Mallory

Marli is 16 years old and a junior at Wallowa High School. She is the daughter of Jill and Clay Mallory of Wallowa, and Danny and Carla Tracy of Polson, Montana. Marli shares her equine activities with a Quarter horse named Downs Dash 4 Candy.

Marli’s hobbies include riding horses and working on the family ranch. She enjoys doing anything horseback, but especially likes gathering cattle in the fall and branding in the spring. In her spare time she enjoys camping, spending time with friends and working on FFA projects. Marli is an active member of the Wallowa FFA, Natural Helpers program, and the Yearbook group.

 

Marli’s accomplishments include being a member of the 2014 Eastern Oregon Livestock Princess, member of the Wallowa County Horse Bowl Team, 2011-12 Wallowa County 4-H Court member, and the Vice President and Greenhand Historian for the Wallowa FFA chapter.

After High school Marli plans to attend college with aspirations to study psychology or elementary education.


 

Jesse Ellen WoodheadJesse-Ellen Woodhead

Jesse is 16 years old and a junior at Joseph Charter School. She lives in Joseph with her Mom Marina Parris-Woodhead and stepfather Steve Zollman. Jesse rides her friend General Bib, a nine year old bay Quarter horse gelding.

Jesse’s hobbies include FFA, FCCLA, volleyball, track, and horseback riding. She also enjoys photography, journalism, and swimming. Jesse’s riding experience includes western and English discipline. She has qualified to participate in the Regional Championships in dressage. Jesse’s achievements include best female actress freshman year, Greenhand secretary, excelled in public speaking at districts, and FFA Chapter Historian.

After High school, Jesse hopes to pursue a career in public relations either at a University in Oregon or in Missouri.

Jesse says that she wants to be on the Chief Joseph Days Court because of the excitement, travel, rodeos, and the friends she will meet along the way.

One of Jesse’s references says, “Jesse has poise and great speaking ability along with the riding.  She has ‘showmanship” quality that people like to see in a court member, big smile, outgoing personality, and the ability to meet and talk with strangers and adults.”
