The Chief Joseph Days flag carriers are known as the Tuckerettes. The name first originated after the honorable Harley Tucker who helped found Chief Joseph Days in 1946.

The Tuckerettes have been opening each rodeo performance since 1994 with a bang of speed and energy.

Riders have included past Chief Joseph Days Rodeo Court members Teah Jones (1991), Dena Rynearson Miller (1996), Paige Bailey (2008), Meagan McKenzie (2009), Jesse Kohlhepp (2010), along with Elsa Steen.
