Friday Morning Fun - Join Us on Friday
Friday morning ushers in an enchanting spectacle as over a hundred youngsters, from adorable infants to spirited teens, step into the limelight in their finest costumes to delight the Chief Joseph Days' crowds.
Here's the Schedule:
9:00 AM: Parade registration and lineup commence at the Indian Lodge Motel.
10:00 AM: The magic begins as the parade sets off, heading north down Main Street.
Prizes Await:
The top three performers in this charming parade will be rewarded with cash prizes, with awards ranging from $10 to $20. But that's not all; the coveted Grand Prize will be unveiled right here! 🌠
Treats for All:
As a token of our appreciation, every young star gracing the parade will receive a free ice cream cone from R&R Dive-In, a sweet reward for their efforts and enthusiasm.

SATURDAY, 10:00 AM - A Spectacle to Remember!
Prepare to be dazzled as the streets of Joseph come alive with the vibrant sights and sounds of the Chief Joseph Days Grand Parade! Thousands of spectators will line the sidewalks in eager anticipation of this dazzling display.
What to Expect:
Close to 100 diverse and captivating entries, each with its unique charm, will captivate your imagination. From the graceful Native Americans and the esteemed Grand Marshal to the radiant beauty of our royalty Court and visiting Courts, the parade is a tapestry of culture, tradition, and community spirit.
Horses, horses, and more horses! Watch in awe as equestrians showcase their skills and artistry, creating an unmissable spectacle that pays homage to the rich equestrian heritage of the region.

The Grand Parade serves as a magnet, drawing the largest concentration of people in one place at one time during the Chief Joseph Days celebration. It's a moment of unity, a celebration of diversity, and a testament to the strength of our community.

Join Us for a Heartfelt Mission - It's Time to Make a Difference!
At Chief Joseph Days Rodeo, Inc., alongside our generous sponsors, George and Beth Morris, and flag sponsors John & Gail Hillock, we are immensely proud to stand as part of the Tough Enough To Wear Pink (TETWP) campaign. We are committed to raising funds to support the fight against breast cancer, a battle that touches countless lives each year and affects us all as spouses, parents, siblings, and friends grappling with its presence and devastation.
Thursday at 9 AM - Lace Up for a Cause!
Join us for a powerful statement as we kick off with a 5k walk starting and ending at the Harley Tucker Memorial Arena in Joseph, OR. Every entry fee contributes to Wallowa Memorial Hospital for mammogram screening and the procurement of essential medical equipment. This event is not exclusive; bring your furry companions along to make it a family affair, as dogs are welcome to join the walk for free.
During the Rodeo - Join the Cause!
Throughout the Rodeo, there will be raffles and a variety of TETWP merchandise available for purchase. We'll also kindly request donations for the TETWP program. The proceeds from these efforts will be a beacon of hope, donated to Wallowa Memorial Hospital, to provide free mammograms to the incredible women of Wallowa County.

Mark Your Calendars for Our 78th Celebration
Chief Joseph Days Rodeo extends a warm welcome to rodeo royalty from near and far for 4 nights of PRCA rodeo action and so much more! Come and be part of our 78th grand celebration, where we have a host of activities for you to spread the word about your rodeo.
Meet Our 2024 Court!
Join Colbi, Karlie, and Lauren as they lead the Grand Entry Serpentine on all four nights of our PRCA Performances at 7 p.m. It's a sight to behold! Visiting royalty will not participate in run-ins unless they have a wallowa county native on the court. For the grand entry, any visiting royalty wanting to participate in the serpentine will line up at the north end arena entrance at 6 pm each night of the rodeo, there will be signs posted at the rodeo grounds.
A Day of Joy - Wednesday at 9 am!
On Wednesday, gather in the arena at 9 am for our heartwarming Buckaroo Rodeo, a special event for children and adults with special needs. It's a day of inclusivity and pure joy.
Thursday - Miles for Mammograms!
Take part in our breast cancer awareness fundraising event, Miles for Mammograms, starting at the Thunder Room at 9 am. Walk for a cause and be a beacon of hope.
Friday - It's Junior Parade Time!
Witness the lively Junior Parade down Main Street in Joseph at 10 am. It's a vibrant display of youthful enthusiasm and creativity.
Saturday - Grand Parade Extravaganza!
Saturday is the grand finale with our Grand Parade. All rodeo courts are welcome to join in this majestic procession. But hurry, as entries close on July 13th.
Lunch and Socializing
After the parade approximately 12 pm/ 1 pm, don't miss the chance to join royal court at the Joseph Community Center, just off Main Street behind the Rusty Spur, for lunch and some delightful socializing. Each court girl will receive one general admission ticket for each royalty member plus two for chaperones for Saturday nights rodeo.
Daily Slack Shows - 2 pm
While not enjoying the parades and events, catch our Daily Slack Shows from Wednesday to Saturday at 2 pm in the arena. It's a chance to witness even more rodeo action.
Shop Local
Explore the local shops and vendors set up at the rodeo grounds and Main Street. There's something for everyone to discover.
