Grand Parade Saturday July 25, 2026

  • Saturday Morning Extravaganza - Chief Joseph Days Grand Parade!

    SATURDAY, 10:00 AM - A Spectacle to Remember!

    Prepare to be dazzled as the streets of Joseph come alive with the vibrant sights and sounds of the Chief Joseph Days Grand Parade! Thousands of spectators will line the sidewalks in eager anticipation of this dazzling display

  • Close to 100 diverse and captivating entries, each with its unique charm, will captivate your imagination. From the graceful Native Americans and the esteemed Grand Marshal to the radiant beauty of our royalty Court and visiting Courts, the parade is a tapestry of culture, tradition, and community spirit.

  • 8:30 AM- 9:30 AM: Parade registration and lineup commence at the Methodist Church in Joseph

    10:00 AM: The magic begins as the parade sets off from East 7th Street, heading north down Main Street, ending at West Alder Street.

  • Entries will open Spring of 2026. Check back again for the registration form!

    Friday Morning Fun - Join Us on Friday at 10AM

    Friday morning ushers in an enchanting spectacle as over a hundred youngsters, from adorable infants to spirited teens, step into the limelight in their finest costumes to delight the Chief Joseph Days' crowds.

    The top three performers in this charming parade will be rewarded with cash prizes, with awards ranging from $10 to $20. But that's not all; the coveted Grand Prize will be $100.0

    Treats for All:

    As a token of our appreciation, every young star gracing the parade will receive a free ice cream cone from R&R Dive-In, a sweet reward for their efforts and enthusiasm.

do i need to pre-register?

Yes you will need to pre-register for the Grand Parade to ensure that your entry is announced and in the lineup. The Junior Parade pre-registration is NOT required and can be completed the morning of the parade at check-in.

how long does the parade last?

The Grand Parade can last around 2 hours. The Junior Parade lasts about 1 hour.

Can kids Ride motorized vehicles?

Yes kids are welcome to ride in motorized vehicles in the Junior Parade as long as it is not a regular street licensed vehicle such as a car. Regular street legal vehicles are allowed in the Grand Parade.

where and when is check In?

The Junior Parade check in begins at 9:00 AM at the Methodist Church in Joseph. The parade will begin at 10 AM.

The Grand parade check in is at 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Methodist Church in Joseph. The parade will begin at 10 AM.

Both parades run from E 7th Street to W Alder Street
